Vinyasa in Sanskrit means “to place in a special way”, how one pose is sequenced to the next.  Today “vinyasa” in relation to yoga is identified with moving in and out of the poses. This class blends the flowing breath-connected movements of Vinyasa with the mindful alignment and supportive props of Iyengar yoga. The teacher will adapt the sequence to all capabilities and students will have the option to move at their own pace and use modifications as needed. The practice builds strength, flexibility, and balance and is appropriate for all levels of practitioners.
