This class is appropriate for continuing beginner and intermediate students. It will provide a firm foundation for understanding the tenets and progression of Iyengar yoga. As such they are an opportunity for our students currently taking level 1-2 and 2-3 classes to work with a Senior teacher and progressively deepen their practice over the three days.
The morning sessions on Friday and Saturday with Brian will build on this foundation.
This year Brian will focus on how the body responds to the breath and the breath to the body in the sequential order of learning pranayama.
In addition, these morning sessions will provide the basis for further exploration in the afternoon intermediate topic sessions. As such, it is suggested that all CIYTs (Certified Iyengar Yoga Teachers), students currently mentoring to become teachers, and keen students looking to further their practice and understanding attend the these sessions.
